Googleโ€™s new AI agents

Google has introduced exciting new technology with its Project Astra and Gemini 2.0. Project Astra is designed to be a universal assistant that can understand and respond to questions using text, speech, images, and video. It can even connect to other Google apps like Search and Maps to find information quickly.

During a recent demo, testers saw Astra in action, where it helped answer questions about recipes and suggested wine pairings. While the technology is impressive, it still has some glitches that need fixing.

Experts believe that if Google can improve Astra's performance, it could become a game-changer in the world of AI assistants. However, thereโ€™s no set release date yet, so weโ€™ll have to wait to see how it develops.

Elon Musk is even wealthier now

๐Ÿš€ Elon Musk has made history by becoming the first person ever to surpass a net worth of $400 billion, according to Bloomberg News. His wealth has skyrocketed mainly due to the rising value of his companies, especially Tesla and SpaceX.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Recently, a private sale of SpaceX shares boosted its market value to about $350 billion, adding around $50 billion to Musk's fortune. As Tesla's stock hit an all-time high, Musk's total net worth reached approximately $440 billion.

Musk's wealth growth has also been linked to his support for Donald Trump's presidential campaign, with many investors believing this could lead to favorable policies for his businesses. Despite facing some legal challenges regarding a pay package from Tesla, Musk's financial success continues to grow, keeping him well ahead of other billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg.

US inflation rose in November

๐Ÿ“ˆ Wholesale inflation in the U.S. rose sharply in November, signaling that some prices might be increasing before reaching consumers. The Producer Price Index (PPI), which tracks price changes for producers, went up by 0.4% from October and 3% over the past year, marking the highest annual rate since February 2023.

๐Ÿฅ˜๐Ÿฅš This increase was driven mainly by a 3.1% jump in food prices, particularly a 54.6% rise in chicken egg prices due to shortages caused by avian flu and higher holiday demand.

While economists had expected a smaller increase, the actual numbers were higher than anticipated. These trends suggest that inflation may continue to be a concern for consumers in the coming months.

Microsoft has warned 400 million Windows 10 users about the risks of upgrading to Windows 11 on incompatible PCs lacking TPM 2.0 hardware. While the company has allowed installations on these devices, it cautions that users may face compatibility issues and lose access to critical updates, including security patches. Microsoft users are encouraged to consider a $30 Extended Security Update as a temporary fix, but the complexities of the upgrade process leave many at risk of making uninformed decisions.
