Born in US? Not necessarily a citizen

Donald Trump has a plan to end birthright citizenship in the U.S. on his first day in office. Birthright citizenship means that anyone born in the country is automatically a citizen, even if their parents are undocumented.

📝 In an interview with NBC, Trump said he might need to change the Constitution to do this and could use executive action. He also incorrectly claimed that only the U.S. has this policy, even though other countries like Canada and Brazil do too.

Trump talked about immigration reform, saying he wants to deport all undocumented immigrants but also wants to protect "Dreamers". Dreamers are young people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as kids.

Trump said many Dreamers have become successful and he is open to working with Democrats on this issue. However, he is still committed to deporting people without legal status, starting with those who have committed crimes.

Aurora, Elon’s new image generator

📷 A new image generator called Aurora was briefly available for users of Grok on X. Users shared impressive, photorealistic images created by Aurora, including pictures of famous characters and public figures.

🧐 However, yesterday, Aurora had disappeared from the platform and was replaced by an older model called Flux. Musk mentioned that Aurora is still in beta and that improvements are expected.

Aurora had few restrictions on the types of images it could create. For example, it generated images of a "bloodied Donald Trump" 🤯 but refused to make explicit images.

While many users praised its photorealistic results, some noted that it struggled with details, such as hands and proportions (Just take a look at the hands in the image above!) The launch of Aurora came just after Grok was made free to all users, allowing them to create a limited number of images each day.

Tesla’s stock soared overnight. What is going on?

📈 Tesla's stock price has soared past $400 in overnight trading on Robinhood, reaching $401.16 early Monday. This rise comes after the stock closed at $389.22 on Friday, marking a 5.34% increase.

Analysts are optimistic about Tesla's future, particularly after Bank of America raised its price target from $350 to $400, citing impressive developments at Tesla's Texas factory and advancements in its Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology.

Notably, Craig Irwin from Roth MKM changed his view on Tesla, upgrading it from "neutral" to "buy" and increasing his target from $85 to $380. However, not all analysts are as positive; Guggenheim still holds a "sell" rating with a lower target of $175.

Trump has suggested that families with mixed immigration status should be deported together, meaning if one member is undocumented, the whole family would be sent back. He stated, "I don’t want to break up families" but believes this is the only solution. With about 4.7 million mixed-status households in the U.S., many containing U.S.-born children, his plan raises humanitarian concerns.

Fortnite, the popular multi-player online game, is introducing a new first-person shooter mode called Ballistic, launching in early access on December 11. This five-on-five mode, resembles Counter-Strike (the nostalgic first person shooter game we all love). As Epic Games encourages creators to develop first-person experiences, Ballistic showcases the game's evolution into a platform similar to Roblox, allowing for diverse gameplay while maintaining existing aesthetics looks.

📈💰 If you want to become a millionaire analysts are advising to consider Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) as promising AI stocks. AMD is emerging as a competitor to Nvidia in the AI chip market, with projected sales growth in AI-accelerating chips expected to reach $500 billion by 2028. The company has reported a 122% year-over-year increase in data center revenue. Meanwhile, Palantir offers software solutions that enhance data analytics for clients, including significant U.S. government contracts, with a 40% revenue increase.
